Teaching Tools: Thinglink

What is Thinglink?

Thinglink is an interactive tool allowing you to create virtual tours, or even label premade images you find online.  These images can be posted to Canvas or the link can be shared with your students.  It can be used as a study tool or just as a document.

Click "Start Now" and follow the prompt to create an account using your Harcum email. Once you are finished setting up your account, you can browse the home screen.

Once you are on your home screen you will have a few options to choose from. With the free account, you have access to Home, Media, and 360° Library.

Create a Thinglink interactive image

Click on Create, then Upload Image and find the image you want to work with.

After you select and upload your image, you will see three options. Click on Add Tag.  It will randomly place the tag, you can click and hold on the tag to drag it to where you want it to be. Once you place the tag where you want it you can choose what type of tag you want to have there. When the students view your projects, there is a built-in reader.
