To support student success, Harcum College offers the Laptop Loaner Program, ensuring all students have access to the technology they need for their academic work. This program provides laptops for educational use, available to students for the duration of their active enrollment at Harcum College.
The Charles H. Trout Library staff manages all laptop loan requests. Laptops can be picked up during regular library hours. If needed, arrangements can be made to ship a laptop to a Partnership Site or directly to the student’s home. To request mail delivery, please include your mailing address on the Laptop Loaner Request Form and email laptoploan@harcum.edu to confirm delivery options.

Laptop Loaner Program Policy
Students who wish to borrow a laptop must follow this policy:
Students are advised to obtain approval from their Program Director before submitting a laptop loaner request.
All requests must be submitted using the student's Harcum College email address.
Borrowed laptops remain the property of Harcum College and are intended for educational use only.
Students accept full responsibility for the care, loss, or damage of the laptop while it is in their possession.
Any loss, theft, or damage must be reported immediately to library staff via email at laptoploan@harcum.edu or by phone at 610-526-6084.
Laptops and chargers must be returned by the end of the semester unless an extension has been approved.
Extensions for laptop use must be requested by emailing laptoploan@harcum.edu before the current semester ends.
Late returns may incur fees depending on the model and condition of the laptop.
Students must comply with all relevant policies outlined in Harcum College's Student Handbook 2025-2026.
Laptops can be picked up during Library hours once the request is approved. If mailing is required, arrangements can be made by emailing laptoploan@harcum.edu.
